Esposizione degli strumenti meteorologici, idrologici e attrezzature

Dal 23 al 25 maggio 2011 si terrà presso il Palexpo di Ginevra un'esposizione degli strumenti meteorologici, idrologici e delle attrezzature per studio della meteorologia.

The Exhibition of Meteorological and Hydrological Instruments and Equipment will take place from 23 to 25th May 2011 at the International Conference Centre of Geneva (CICG).

GENEVA PALEXPO has been appointed by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for the organisation of Meteohydex 2011 which takes place in conjunction with the 16th World Meteorological Congress which will be in session at the CICG from 16th May to 1st June 2011. The purpose of the event is to provide an overview of the meteorological and hydrological instruments and equipment available and to facilitate the bringing together of manufacturers and WMO Permanent Representatives attending the Congress.


METEOHYDEX was created in 1979 on the occasion of the 8th World Meteorological Congress, and has been organized by GENEVA PALEXPO ever since that date. The Congress and accompanying trade show take place once every four years which means that the METEOHYDEX 2011 will be the 9th edition.

Experts in the field consider METEOHYDEX to be the reference event worldwide in meteorology. An average of 60-80 exhibitors comes to this specialist exhibition each time, which brings together industry professionals and other experts from around the globe. The last edition – METEOHYDEX 07 - saw 79 exhibitors from different countries worldwide, covering all five continents and delegates from over 169 nations who all converged upon this key event, to see the latest technologies.

The exhibition is open to Congress participants and to trade visitors.
