L'azienda agricola Il Giardino di Vigliano, nasce grazie all'amore ed alla perizia dei nostri avi parecchie generazioni addietro, ma viene rivalutata e riportata agli antichi splendori negli ultimi trenta anni grazie alla immensa passione di Giuseppe Nunziata, discendente della famiglia proprietaria del fondo, e della sua famiglia, moglie e figli, che sono rimasti intrappolati nel turbine della passione verso la loro terra.
Negli ultimi dieci anni, poi grazie all'agriturismo, all'agricoltura biologica e all'adozione del marchio IGP (Iscrizione Geografica Protetta), l'azienda si è evoluta ed è diventata il fiore all'occhiello della nostra frazione.
Il podere si trova a Massa Lubrense, famosa col nome di Terra delle Sirene, ma sopratutto come terra del limone.Il "Giardino", cosi chiamiamo i limoneti nella nostra zona, si estende per due ettari completamente coltivati con a limone ovale di Sorrento, arance e mandarini.
La coltivazione del limone nella nostra zone era caratterizzata dall'adozione di pergole in legno di castagno, costruite a protezione delle piante durante i mesi invernali, e dalla tipica copertura in pagliarelle costruite con bastoni di castagno ("chierchiere") e paglia mietuta a mano. Nell'ultimo decennio a causa della scarsità di manodopera e dei costi proibitivi dei materiali le pergole sono state sostituite con strutture semi metalliche dall'impatto ambientale a volte catastrofico.....ma la nostra azienda ha resistito, come poche altre, ed ha mantenuto la sua caratteristica originaria.
Come azienda agrituristica nasciamo nel 1997, possiamo vantarci della licenza numero uno del comune di Massa Lubrense, abbiamo 8 camere matrimoniali di cui due triple, tre panoramicissime con vista sul golfo di Napoli e Vesuvio e una minisuite con terrazzino privato su Capri ed angolo cottura.
Negli ultimi dieci anni, poi grazie all'agriturismo, all'agricoltura biologica e all'adozione del marchio IGP (Iscrizione Geografica Protetta), l'azienda si è evoluta ed è diventata il fiore all'occhiello della nostra frazione.

The guest is invited in fact to cast his glance twoar as the park, natural pearl of the small but friendly farm near Villazzano of Massa Lubrense, on the extreme point of the sorrentina peninsula.

And perhaps because of these Homeric memories the tourist coming form the caos of the big city could almost hear far off the gentle song of the sirens, when from the terrace fitted out as a solarium one absorbs the panorama of the gulf of Naples as far as Ischia and Capri.
Situated halfway along the sign Massa Lubrense –Sorrento, frequented until the nineteenth century by tourists in search of sensation, the garden even today, thanks to the exclusives of the place and the unique atmosphere, gives the same emotions as of a past era.
After having driven the narrow and long road under the scented trellises of lemons, the guests are warmly greeted by Giuseppe Nunziata (Peppino to his friends) and with his wife Ida and their children Luigi and Valentina they carefully tend to the vegetables and the garden, to the cultivation of lemons and to the preparation of tipical servings of Mediterranean cooking.
A lot of the dishes are cooked in a wood oven, as in the past. And like the past Ida and Her children make the pasta by hand, and once a week take delicious bread, prepared by hand and baked in the wood oven.
“The Garden of Vigliano” is a rustic dwelling from who’s walls emit a sensation of harmony and calm: during the day infact it is not difficult to see Peppino, real master of the art of the crèche in terracotta and tufo, intent on modeling the shepherds, so real as to seem like people in flesh and bone.
There are few guest rooms made from the interior of the large costruction that once served as a watchtower), but represents an advantage because it allows you to enter more easily in contact with the family and the surroundings.
The garden is hot far from places known in the whole world for their beauty such as Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento that certainly merit a visit.
Even in the interior of the coast one can take interesting excursions in fact not far from Villazzano one finds “Villa Rossi” with the church dedicated to the “Madonna of charity” frescoed by Guido Reni, who lived between the 16th and the 17th century, and also the place where the English admiral Hudson Lowe, after the battle of Capri, surrendered to Gioacchino Murat, king of Naples from 1808 until 1815.
